Dysfunction in the sacroiliac joint is thought to cause low back and/or leg pain. The pain can be similar to pain caused by a lumbar disc herniation. This condition is generally more common in young and middle age women.
Sacroiliitis is an inflammation of the sacroiliac joint. Desmophytes is a More serious condition than ankylosing spondylitis.
Ask your doctor about doing water exercises. This might help with the flexation and help reduce the pain.

You should check this sciatica natural treatment http://cure-sciatica.info
Normally, I would not answer a question like this as my expertise is generally in medication but I had severe sciatica while I was pregnant with my 3rd child (after having had twins) and I had sciatica so bad that I was finding it difficult to walk. I tried massage therapy and physical therapy and could not take medication
I went to the chiropractor and the pain was instantly relieved. My hips and lower back were out of alignment because I had carried twins the year before. On occasion a Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) can also work but they usually only work on one joint at a time - the chiropractor will do your whole back which works faster. Anyone who does not believe in chiropractors will tell you they are quacks - don't listen.
I don't necessarily believe that chiropractors can cure things like diabetes but they can definitely relieve some types of back pain especially if a pinched nerve is involved which is usually the cause of sciatica. Try a reputable chiropractor ASAP!

These diagnoses are related to spinal stenosis and possible fusing of vertabral joints. Desmophytes is a more advanced condition than ankylosing spondylitis. Some spinal stenosis conditions can be treated by surgery. When arthritic bone material develops inside the vertabra, the result is a pressure on the spinal cord, which is usually signaled by extreme pain in the sciatic nerves. There are procedures to cut a small portion of the vertabra away, allowing the spinal cord to return to its normal position.

They are different structures. The hip joint is where the femoral head articulartes with the acetabulum. The sacroiliac or SI joint is a fibrocartilaginous joint where the sacral secgments articulate with the hip posteriorly. It will look like two completely different locations on a nuclear bone scan.

Ask your doctor about an exercise routine. Regular exercise, such as walking three times a week, may reduce neuropathy pain, improve your muscle strength and help control blood sugar levels. Gentle routines such as yoga and tai chi might also help.
