Yes.

It is not common in the large part of the population, but it is not unusual for it to occur when a woman first begins having sexual relations, especially when there is tactile and/or oral stimulation of the breast.

In this case, it usually does not last very long.

There are a few other reasons, which vary from emotions to false pregnancy. If it continues, and you are uncomfortable with it, you should see a doctor and it can be stopped very quickly

Yes. Women anticipating the completion of the adoption of an infant have reported that use of a breast pump every few hours, then putting the newly-adopted infant to the breast once she arrives, enables some of them to produce a very small amount of breast milk.

It's not enough to handle the baby's nutritional needs (bottle feeding is still required), but it does let mother and baby bond like any other nursing mother and her infant.

Yes-breast milk is generated by a sign from your body's hormones, you do not have to be pregnant to produce it. I was on birthcontrol for 13 years straight and around year 9 I was able to express milk, just because of the high level of hormones in my body.

Yes it is. Hormones can prompt production of milk without pregnancy. Wet nurses have taken advantage of this for centuries. The act of sucking will lead to milk production if it is continued long enough. Some women like the feeling of having milk in their breasts, and will arrange regular nursing to encourage it.

Yes. It actually works better that way. The milk is much more useful once the pregnancy is over and the baby has been delivered :-)

If you mean "must a woman have recently given birth in order to lactate", then the answer is no.

my mom has a small tumor on a gland in her head and it makes her body think it's pregnant when it's not.. sometimes she gets breast milk or stops having her period for a little while.. it may be that your hormones are out of wack and you should go see a doctor
