"People of the Bean" in India?

Hello, this is a question for people from India. I remember that a city recently changed its name to something like "People of the Bean". I really like that, but I don't remember what city that was. Can you tell me what city means "People of the Bean" or something like that?

I think the city you have mentioned is "Bangalore" proposed to be renamed as Bengaluru.

p.s. Benda Kalaru means "City of the Boiled Bean".
