I'm not actually sure. That being said unions typically recruit heavily from the uninformed. I would say there is some credibility to this thought.

Typically against, with good reasons, simliar to their reasons to support 'fair trade' meaning high tarrifs. Unions want a level field for their workers, the US isnt interested in this since the gov't represents the rich now, not the normal workers.
Illegals compete with union class workers, undercutting them and driving them out. Simultaneously taking away the power of the union to negotiate for anything better for the worker since they cant do much when they have fewer workers placed. Illegals dont tend to unionize of course, and arent wanted since they prefer to undercut anyway.
The whole fair trade meaning tarrifs is because those countries typically either tarriff our goods, or give a rebate to any company exporting to us (making it cheaper for them to sell the product in the US than it is for them to make it--meaning US companies cant compete).
The big groups pushing for illegals are big business (tax supported workers are great, eh?) and illegals themselves. As a whole legal immigrants tend to be against them. What does they tell you? Skilled and unskilled workers alike tend to be against them as well. Too many people stand to lose. Too many Americans stand to lose. Even the unions can see that.

Yes, they are against illegal immigration. Unions are largely protectionist. They want to "protect" American jobs and American workers from any and all foreign competition, which is why they usually support "fair trade," including unreasonably high tariffs on imports. Just another reason to hate unions.

It depends on the union. Unions losing jobs to outsourcing are I'm sure more prone to be anti alien anything. But unions like the United farm workers probobly welcome them with open arms, as they will become members using an identity they have stolen.

Yes. They'll do the same work for half the pay which assists the union-busters.

Of course they are. Migrant workers greatly lowering the working wage is incredibly unfair to legal workers.
