wave grease aka pomade will not give u waves. it will just make the waves that you already have look better by laying your hair down and giving it a nice shine. brush 45+ minutes a day and go to this site to become a 360s expert like me http://360waves.net be sure to brush your top forward, sides slanting downwards starting from your crown and back straight down. also be sure to use a moisturizer daily. pomades are not necessary at all but to answer your question, yes water will help but only to make it easier to spread the thick pomade evenly. just be sure to use a durag or wave cap b4 laying down to protect your pattern and never brush or cut your hair against the grain.

to distribute the wave grease better some say adding water will help. Then some say by adding the water helps the waves to show much better and faster.

It depends on what kind of hair you have. Just get some sporting waves grease for men and do alot of brushing!!!

it would be easier, like if i want to scrunch my hair putting the gel and hairspray on dry hair is hard to work with plus, if i do it that way my hair will come out all messy and wont look good, when your hair is wet, its easier to work with, and style, so yea wet your hair and then use the grease, and maybe hairspray to get that touch to make it stay put
