As legionary Pullo can likely inform you (Lucius Vorenus in disguise here brother!:-") the admin in charge has enormous leverage if they decide to use it. However what they usually do instead is to prosecute agents who perform their duty, just like some of our marines and army soldiers in Iraq. Plainly put, the border patrol and INS at the direction of not only this admin, but priors all the way back to bush1. His admin looked the other way as millions flooded our country, and each amdin has been more and more willing to do so. This immediately after Reagan's Amnesty. Simple economics really. Good slaves are hard to find. These are good slaves as far as business is concerned. What they havent calculated however, is the cost once they have to pay em what everyone else in America is making. The economy of slavery cannot hold up with fair wages. I wonder what kind of impact another 50 to 100 million NEW emerging american lifestyles in say 30 years will have on the following...

environmental impact
fresh water supplies
energy demand
health care system load
education
language
culture
social security payouts
welfare payouts
new programs and services funded by you and me that thy havent earned...

Refused to fight smart, all out or to win, and so...Rome fell and never rose again. The dark ages ensued. Blinded by greed, arrogance, and the illusion of an empire that could never fall, they argued about peaceful methods, and waiting for good will to overtake their enemies. We all know how that ended. While Rome might still stand today, it never again rose a power to be recknoned with. The Roman empire, the light of civilation was over.
