I think it's because we exist. See, if we didn't exist, they'd have to blame someone else (maybe the pentacostals, episcopalians, catholics, etc.). But since we do exist they have a common scape goat to blame for everything, non-believers.
As for reasons that originate and terminate within the christian community, some of them will say it's satans fault, but that is sort of akin to saying that god doesn't care enough about their marriages to protect them from satan. Some will say free will, which means that they don't love their god enough to honor the commitment they made before him.
But the bottom line is the rest of us are NOT contributing to the decline of marriage, we're simply participants in the game doing what we believe is right and acceptable for our individual situations. We don't cause others to divorce, and we don't give the christians their morals and values.

Because many Christians think that God has changed his mind.
The media and television Christians represent God as a pliable, world approving cosmic entity who agrees that anything goes "if it is right for you" and they also are fulfilling the scripture that because iniquity shall abound the love of many shall wax cold.
The anti-christ will decieve if possible the very elect, he is doing it now.
God's word must be obeyed to the jot and tittle or hell is the end result.

I thought divorce was against the bible. Funny how Christians pick and choose which rules they adhere too. Then they blame gay people, like myself, for everything, including Christians divorcing.
Go ahead, Christians, I am used to it. The sanctity of your marriage was ruined by my mere existence and that is why you had to get divorced...and remarried...and divorced again.

I don't know, but during a Christian marriage they always ask for God to bind their marriage until death do them part. Apparently that doesn't work most of the time.

Christians have a higher divorce rate than atheists, btw.
My genetically enhanced intellect allowed me to remember this and pass it on.

Divorce rates are not climbing to 60%.
Christians are not the majority in America.
70% of marriages succeed, when its the first marriage for both parties.
Most of the statisics you hear in the media about divorce are mis-leading.
