Archery is what it`s called and when you are doing it you are sooting your bow,so your shooting.

A person practising archery is called an archer, and one who is fond of or an expert at archery is sometimes called a toxophilite.

N.B. A Fletcher is a person that manufacturers bows and arrows

There is no verb - just as in golf, judo and even football to mention a few. I'm afraid you'll have to 'do' or 'play' alternatively you could invent a new verb - 'to archer' perhaps. Doesn't sound right but it might catch on if you say it enough.

I think the verb would have to be 'to practice' or 'to do' followed by the noun 'archery'.
