According to the Bible, Book of Genesis,
chapter 1, verses 11-13,
Vegetation was created on the third day along with seed-bearing grasses, plants and trees; and further on as per verses 14-19, the sun was created on the fourth day. How is it scientifically possible for the vegetation to have appeared without the presence of the sun, as it has been stated in the Bible?
It also says light is created on the first day where as the source of light 'The Sun' is created on the fourth day. How is this scientifically possible?
If Bible is the word of Divine God He should not make mistakes while describing evolution. Even though he needed Six days to create the Universe.

Because God is omnipotent, there’s no doubt He could have created the universe and its contents in no time at all, or six seconds, or six minutes, or six hours—after all, ‘with God nothing shall be impossible’ (Luke 1:37).
Why did God take so long? Why as long as six days?’ The answer is given in Exodus 20:11, and that answer is the basis of the fourth commandment:
‘For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day, and sanctified it.’
The seven-day week has no basis outside of Scripture. In this Old Testament passage, God commands His people, Israel, to work for six days and rest for one—that is why He deliberately took as long as six days to create everything. He set the example for man. Our week is patterned after this principle.

Well first of all, he did create it instantly. Oh, not the universe as we know it today - but a universe with the same laws of physics and quantum mechanics as we know them today existed nanoseconds after the Big Bang.
But if by "the universe" you mean the universe as it exists now, you're thinking too four dimensionally.
God is outside time altogether - his yesterday is his today is his tomorrow. Time's passage is essentially an illusion, an accident of how we perceive things. As Bill Bryson points out, time has no arrow - the laws of physics work back and forth (temporally) in equal measure. Which means that for God, the universe and everything that has ever happened to it is a single picture to him, and not a part of a "past" that he no longer has access to.
The universe as we know it, or as the dinosaurs knew it, or as not-yet-evolved-beings will know it is all a part of his present reality. It is not a memory to him - he created it, and can see it as vividly in the "now" as you can the computer screen in front of you.

The six days of creation were huge periods of time that God used to prepare the already-existing earth for animal and human habitation. If you will notice in Gen. 1:2 that the earth was already standing BEFORE the first "day" started. The earth may be millions or billions of years old.

You need to contact the questioner from last week that asked How could God create the entire worlds systems in just six days and take a day of rest.
Atheists need to get together. Is the time--to long--to short--just right? Admit it GOD DID IT

Drying time, and constructions set backs mostly. Then of course there were the off contract things like, making the animals, and creating man in his own image, which isn't easy if you don't have an image, or have low self esteem.

Nowhere does the bible say that He NEEDED six days. He chose to do it that way to set an example for sabbath observance.
