One of the main things that i have heard in the Bible and from numerous Christians is that when we die God will have forgiven all of our sins.

Now look at it this way. If all of our sins are forgiven for; i would also assume that applies to us now. The sins that we have yet to commit are already forgiven for. So why not just sin away now because everything that we have done and will do in the future will be forgiven.

You won't want to if you really follow God. You'll still try to do your best like most people do. Also, you shouldn't "sin away" because it will hurt your life and other people. Plus, if you become a Christian and you want to spread the forgiveness to another person, if you live a hurtful lifestyle, they aren't going to listen to you and they'll never get that forgiveness.

Read the book of James in the Bible and the first chapter or so of "A Scandalous Freedom". The author's last name is Brown. It deals with this. Also, read the third chapter and the last story in the fourth chapter of "What's so Amazing About Grace" by Philip Yancey. It does a good job of showing how rare grace is, how forgiveness and unconditional love changes lives, and what a good idea it really is. I don't think you can fully understand the concept of grace unless you study it a bit. Don't blow it off, where else do you get accepted even when you fail? The fact is you CAN sin and you are forgiven, but you won't because you want to grow and mature and serve God.

The Apostle Paul answered a very similar question in Romans 6:1-2, "What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?" The idea that a person could trust in Jesus Christ for salvation and then go on living just as he/she lived before - is absolutely foreign to the Bible. Believers in Christ are new creations (2 Corinthians 5:17). The Holy Spirit changes us from producing the acts of the flesh (Galatians 5:19-21), to producing the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). The Christian life is a changed life.

Purgatory is simply the place where already saved souls are cleansed of the temporal effects of sin before they are allowed to see the holy face of Almighty God. Revelation 21:27 tells us that "...nothing unclean will enter [Heaven]."

Purgatory is His way of ensuring that Revelation 21:27 is true and that nothing unclean will see Heaven. It is only through Christ's sacrifice that we are shown this mercy! It is Christ and Christ alone Who allows us access to the Father.

Jews, Catholics, and Eastern Orthodox have always proclaimed the reality of the final purification for those who need it. It was not until the Protestant Reformers came in the 1500s that any Christians denied the idea of a final purgation before seeing the face of God.

I believe in reincarnation, and that the energy which flows through your mind right now (allowing you to function as the person you are) can be tainted with evil thoughts (destructive) or enlightened with peaceful aspirations (production).
To add to your theory, why else would a Christian be here, other then to be tested by their God???
That's the whole meaning of life to the Christian believer. To go through trival tribulation and earn their heaven, by ignoring the sin. If sin did not exist by the paradox that you created nothing is sin.

Your sins are only forgiven if you seek that forgiveness from God and those you have sinned against. And one must also repent.

Sin boldly!
Then get forgiveness!
The fruit of a converted soul or the Spirit is the desire to not sin. I would say sin boldly then the conviction comes......
It is really a mystery why I do what I do not want to do and that which I do not want to do I do.......who can be saved?

When you choose to follow Christ everything inside changes. If nothing about your behavior has changed, you aren’t following Christ. You’re following your own will. This doesn’t mean we won’t face temptations and make mistakes. We will. Constantly. The difference is in the desire to do better and the understanding of our mistakes. This understanding comes from Christ and either we learn to pay attention and grow, or we ignore and stand still, spiritually speaking.

Our sins are forgiven because we have repented of them. That is, we detest sinning, even when we do it. If we sin without remorse, then we really haven't repented and we are still lost in sin and unforgiven.

because repentant sins are forgiven. if you say sorry then do it again, you haven't repented. and then you also have to repent of the sin of trying to find loopholes and abuse God's forgiveness by intentionally sinning.
