You are asking a question to which you yourself are unsure? You ask "if" God exists?
Well If he does, and I am very open minded to this age old queston. But if he does, he's not doing much good on the protecting of the vulnerable, including, innocent children and animals? Now if I were "powerful" I would sure do something more than what is being done? However, since I am "powerless" I can only do my "bit" and pray that this cruel abusive behaviour that is happenning every three seconds to "our" children and animals stop?
For me that is the definition of both powerful and powerlessness, where do you think God comes in, is he stoping anything?
Free will is just the same as saying, "do the F*** what you want to do?

If there existed a God, then "he" would be the worst son of a bit*h to ever walk the Earth if he did possess any power at all, and if he didn't I'd squash him likethe little insect that he is for the crack. So who cares, I'm going to kick his head in either way.

If you are poweless to comprehend since when He has arranged for you whatever you could require in your life-air, water, food and what not, you may not be knowing how to seek His help. His mercy and affection is boundless as such it is not possible that He cannot help you.Can you come with a specific instance instead of of mere conjecture.

God exists and is Omnipotent. His will is Sovereign and He chooses to exercise His power as He sees fit according to HIS will.
God has told man to repent of their sins and turn to righteousness to avoid violating spiritual laws that maintains the harmony of life.
When those spiritual laws are violated, there are repercussions.
Because man has been given a free will, many choose not to obey God but violate those spiritual laws to their own destruction, and then blame God for the consequences of their disobedience.

I think it is *possible* that he is powerless over some things.
The bible is an imperfect record kept by imperfect people. The truth is in there, but I would imagine that a fair amount of mistakes, mistranslations, and outright lies are as well. Prayer helps one to sort these things out.
Namaste.

God has given us time to prove we cannot manage without Him or His rule. 6000 years has passed since the creation of Adam and Eve, and time has shown that we have failed miserably. (See Jeremiah 10: 23) He has set up a Kingdom in heaven which was established in 1914 and is to rule over earth by His son Jesus Christ and 144,000 men and women chosen from this earth to rule the earth with Him. Very soon this Kingdom will rid earth of all ungodly persons (like in Noahs time) and only those who have subjected themselves to this new arrangement will live forever on earth. (See Daniel 2:44) For more info let me have your address and I will send you a book (free of charge) explaining in detail all that the New Kingdom Government will accomplish.
