Its OK Sarah we all make mistakes.

I think you will find that most Atheists are actually pretty nice people. We do tend to get jumpy, when we are called imoral though. Mostly because we are the only ones who actually know what it is like to be an atheist, and are the only ones qualified to talk about Atheist morals.

It gets a little hard, hearing Christians claiming that they are the only ones who are loving and kind, and everyone else has nothing to live for. It is really insulting, if you think about it.

So please forgive us for getting upset, we are just a little trigger happy from defending ourselves constantly.

Have a great day.

Sarah, I made a big foot sandwich a few days ago, and I found that most people are very forgiving. Their advice to me was to learn from the mistake and not make the same mistake again, that's when you show that you have learned.

But it seems like any question where someone says "why do some" or "why do all"...gets the people riled up, especially if they don't feel it applies to them, and they will defend themselves and their side of the issue vehemently

So, I don't think we can ever get an answer to that question, until we can find a way to ask it and respect their feelings. If you can figure out how to do it in a non-offensive way, let the rest of us know.

I perceive your apology as disingenuous. The question to which you refer appears to have been put forward for the purpose of stirring things up. Not just to rile the atheists but also to rally the Christian atheist-bashers. For that matter, this question does the same thing. If you are going to pursue trolling I suggest you improve your skills.

"sorry atheists are indignant via my questions, please forgive me.? " Sorry - you could no longer in simple terms positioned a ?Mark after a assertion and think of that's a question. AND, you do no longer offend me from asking questions yet do no longer assume me to pander on your loss of mind in any communicate. "have a mature debate on an exceptionally comfortable subject count" that is in simple terms your opinion which you're mature. i do no longer think of that's a "very comfortable subject count" in any respect. the entire invisible sky critter element is all particularly infantile - it advance into made up for people who did no longer have the mind to look at organic phenomena - it advance into/is far less stressful to assert: GODDIDIT. "you hate Christian human beings" you spot, we don't 'hate' - this is one in each of those fundie observe. "some thing that atheist do no longer even beleive[sic] in" incorrect - the only element we mutually have not got self assurance in is the life of any breed or type of invisible sky critter. ''faith and spirituallity[sic]'' is a challenge - no longer an merchandise - that is not some thing to be believed in - do you spot the comfortable distinction? Mmm, prob'ly no longer, huh? ~

It's a good idea before asking a question to really think about it first.

I think you would be surprised at how many Atheists you actually know but who don't have a need to announce it.

Those people are exactly like your Christian friends....except they don't believe in God.

Believing in evil is "NOT" the opposite of believing in God.

Most of us have really thick skins, you'll need more than words to actually offend us, so don't worry. Most of the time insulting post just makes me laugh(and if they are by fundies i take them as compliment).

I am hateful and mean, but I was not offended. I am also nice and kind. I;d say I am well-rounded. It is those who deny their evil side that bother me. I have a moral objection to hypocrisy.

Sarahkay, you really need to get over your need to feel Guilty if others CHOOSE to be offended in REACTION to your words. You can't make yourself responsible for another person's reaction any more than you can be responsible for their Actions.

Free Will, remember...?

Edit:

You DO remember that it works both ways, don't you?
