Not to be dull, but I'd put "Kennel Assistant" or "Animal Caretaker"

Also, if you can volunteer at the SPCA to get some experience, this would be GREAT.

You might also try doing pet grooming? It's a way to get your foot in the door ...

Best of luck!

You need two or three different Resumes... Banking jobs won't want someone who really wants to be a pharmacist (4-year degree for most, with major in pharmacy plus a one or two year internship..), and the reverse applies as well. You'll need a separate resume for each major interest. Employers are looking for one major skill, not the shotgun approach. Doesn't hurt to list these other skills in the body of the resume, but it's the one line (SHORT) title on the Resume that they look at first. Having a degree in something is a requirement for many jobs now, it's used as the first sort - no degree = trashcan. In some states it legally doesn't matter whether you really did the years in school or did a short-term correspondence course for the degree. It may be very important later, however, since if your career does well, a "fake" degree may hurt you big time. Good luck!!

You could do something like:

"Career Objective: Seeking a challenging position where I can work with animals."
