I buy Horchata mix (I can find it in the Hispanic food sections in Walmart or look for an Hispanic store) it is made by a company called KLASS and you mix it like Kool Aid but I add to it and mix it like a Nada Colada.
Per Pitcher I mix
1 PKG of Horchata mix
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 can of coconut milk
tsp of cinnamon
1 1/4 cup of sugar
Pour over ice in blender and blend till slushy.
Dust top of mix with cinnamon. For a little more freshness substitute cinnamon with a tblsp of lemon juice and on top of poured Horchata zest a little bit of lemon on the top before serving. Have fun!
Really nice for the summer.

The following links have great summer drink recipes, but here are a few things to remember...
If you have a blender, ice, and fruit, you have a summer drink! Anything else just adds to it. Orange juice, lemonade, milk, pudding, yogurt, ice cream, soda - use your imagination!
Freeze juice in ice cube trays to add to drinks to give them color and to keep from watering the zing down as the ice melts.
Keep a variety of glass and cute straws, umbrellas and other assorted cute drink accessories on hand to make any drink a festive one!

Cucumber water is totally refreshing and non-alcoholic. i first had this at the red door spa, and i've been hooked ever since.
fill a pitcher 3/4 of the way with ice water. slice 2 cucumbers lengthwise and add to water. allow steep for 24 hours. when i've been in a rush, i've peeled the cucumbers, sliced length wise and made lengthwis slits on the rounded side of them as well, letting them steep for 4 hours. before serving, remove cucumbers andd add mint ice (see below).
you can vary this recepie by adding mint ice (crush up some mint and freeze with water in an ice tray), or by adding mint to the drink itself, or by adding lemon slices. very nice.
another good non-alky drink is the 'secito' (a play off the 'mojito')
rub TONS of spearamint (or mint if you can't get spearamint) on the inside of the pitcher, then chiffonade really thin. freeze pitcher.
fill 3/4 of the way with ice cold water then add
1/4 cup chilled simple syrup
1/2 cup fresh squeezed lime juice. mix well.
add lime slices and chopped spearament to pitcher, allow to chill. top off with 7-up.

A popular one is mix some kind of fruit punch or fruit juice with ginger ale. Gives the punch/juice a little "kick" and some fizz, without adding alcohol.
