Each human being has a right to think what he/she will, and to verbally express what they think. The danger and divisiveness arrise when the same he/she insists that what they think and voice is the ONLY truth that exists, and wants to force everyone else to agree.

As I have experience other cultures, very intriguing topic for me, I have realized that it greatly depends on the person asking the questions. I have been in situations where the person was sincerely looking for an answer or wanted feedback that would stimulate their thinking. I have also been "baited". The only reason for the question was to give a platform for them to convince me of their point of view, or worse yet, negatively comment on my leaders/society/culture.
I have had great discussions and learned a lot about other cultures engaging with people. As one comment stated, approach with humility. Understand the person is looking through their "cultural grid" so their view will always be somewhat different then yours.

The best comment is a question, asked with humility and allowing for the possibility that you don't know the answer. Especially if you allow other 360 users to e-mail you.

If you have something inciteful to say, then yes, it is OK. On the other hand, if you are just answering to get the 2 points, but don't really know anything, then you would be better off not answering.

it depends on the comment/answer
if its something that has to do with the culture/society....be careful, ur comment could sound stereotypical and offensive.....if you have been to that country before it is okay to share your experience but yea don't make generalizations....
