Dog Allergies - Have shots helped you?

So I absolutely LOVE dogs. I have had one for over a year, and my asthma symptoms are managable with her. Allergy symptoms are minimal, however I know that the asthma is surely allergy induced. We recently got a new puppy, and my asthma is flaring up again. I have been taking allergy shots for over a year, but recently asked to add a seperate shot just for dog. I've only been on it a few weeks. Has anyone else had allergy shots for their dog allergies/asthma? Have they helped? How long till I see results? Thanks!

I am positive that my symptoms ARE being caused by the dogs.

Allergy shots helped me a lot. However they took two years to start working for me and five years to get the maximum benefit. My series of shots lasted nine years.

I took the photographs for the comparable issues, canines, cats, and so on... My reactions to the photographs have been via a methods worse than purely having the allergic reactions. i stop and purely cope with the allergic reactions. i bypass via alot of benadryl, zyrtec, and singulair!
