The Rapture is a purely recent invention by Thomas Darby in 1850, and comes from a spectacularly literal reading of specific verses taken out of context.

I wouldn't mind this new twist of delusion among the Christians except for one thing: There seems to be an element among them that wants to actively try to make it happen. Drop by a forum called Rapture Ready. There are some seriously scary people over there.

So, somebody had a dream that confirmed you with a existence which you have been extra desirable than possibly to have. maximum women seem very very comparable to their mothers. maximum married women finally end up quicker or later pregnant with a daughter that looks like them. that is not prophecy. Why did not all and sundry dream of you having 2 boys, then a woman? Why did not all and sundry have a dream with an precise time-physique? What makes you assume objectives are out of your god particularly than from the subconscious, like psychological examine shows? "not something ever in this complete international could ever get me to have faith that God isn't genuine and his techniques are not alluring and morally desirable." that's what's horrifying approximately Christianity. that is what finally leads to human beings committing genocide interior the theory that God needs a set lifeless, killing their toddlers interior the theory that that is extra advantageous for them to pass to God, or killing somebody you think of has displeased God. that is what excuses the mass homicide of harmless human beings interior the Bible. To all and sundry else, the memories interior the previous testomony are scary and depict a monster, yet to a Christian who has a deep could have faith that their god is desirable, finally atrocities grow to be morally desirable. this is extremely frightening. that is as though stable theory erases your ethical compass and makes you have faith that homicide is powerful.

This is a free country, to say what we want , when we want, to whomever we want with complete immunity from the law, that is our right.
And not you or anyone else is going to stop that, now accept it.

And if yoy do not like the answers given in the form of a Scriptural response...Tuff..get over it.

I choose to believe the rapture will happen one day, but if it doesn't I've hurt no one. You choose not to believe it and if it does happen, you're condemned your self to hell. I'm not saying one has to believe in the rapture to escape hell, but it does require, at the minimum, a belief in God.

I am a Jew and I believed Jesus and got saved I also believe him about the rapture too and that he truely cares about you and me too=

Revelation 3:19&20 "I love you and ask you to repent (even of one lie) and Behold I stand at your heart door and knock if you hear my word, and ask me in, I will come in and be your friend and you mine.
Jesus offers us to be our best friend-It happened for me that day when I prayed, "Jesus thank you that you love me and offer to come into my heart and be my friend, I am sorry for my sins, please come in, amen."
praying the best for you too inner peace and joy evermore on earth and in heaven too, even with trial He will always come through for you, David

Well, my friend...you'll get your wish soon enough. All of us troublesome Christians will be gone, and you get seven years to make it work without God's restraining influence holding back the evil. Good luck, dude.
