The maximum healthy dose of red wine (18% ethanol), for purposes of improving circulation, is 1 ounce per 25 pounds of body weight per day. If you weigh 225 pounds, your maximum is 9 ounces of red wine per day, which would just about fill up two "restaurant sized" coffee mugs (they hold about 5 ounces). If your wine has a lower alcohol concentration, you might adjust the volume upward by the ratio, but don't go over.

Sugar Pie hit it first out of the gate.
Moderation is the key, and 3-4 glasses of wine is a bottle of wine. Drinking a bottle of wine per day, or especially per sitting is no one's definition of moderation.

You should still limit it to a glass or two. The calories in those two to three extra glasses may well explain the 225 pounds.

One, 2 are good for well being. too plenty isn't, of path. additionally, pay attention, the particularly particularly poor high quality wines are not going to be healthful in any respect. yet a average/good purple wine in small portions, is sweet for you.

1 or 2 a day is fine... 3 or more won't make a difference and will only help you gain weight.
