do u think hearing aid is best for deaf people ? is it best for profound hearing impaired people ? I am profound deaf(above 80 % loss of both ears).I have the best hearing aid but it does not suit to me. i can hear with hearing aid but can not understand. now i am without hearing aid. i am studying without hearing aid. i have no problem without hearing aid.

I would think what ever works best for you, If its not working, maybe you need a stronger one. How ever if your doing fine with out it, then dont use it. (btw I am tring to become an Interpreter for the Deaf)

Hearing aids can be adjusted. Yours do not sound like they are set right for you.

Without the hearing aid you hearing is not the problem.

People making you hear them is the BIG problem. I am constantly frustrated when my Husband cannot hear me.

My husband has about 50 percent loss in both ears. He has a good hearing aid in the right one . Wears the blue tooth earpiece for his phone in the other one. That way he loses all of his outside hearing in the left one (without the Hearing aid)

They are a challenge. I would suggest going to get the settings checked.
