An evening indoor wedding, even in the summer, is usually cocktail attire. I'd wear a nice, cocktail length dress and heels.

Depends highly on where you live, what the weather is and what the Bride is wearing. Good rule of thumb is to stick to neutrals (not even sure that the F*** those are) and don't outshine/disgrace the wedding party in any way, shape or form as you/they will remember it/hold it against you for their rest of you/their lives.

I was at an indoor wedding Saturday night and sundresses seemed to be the style.

My son was just married three weeks ago (in Vegas) and most of the women in attendance wore knee length party dresses, most of them were sleeveless, with a shawl or light wrap of some sort. Keep in mind the brides color system; although there seems to be no rule of thumb anymore...unless you're of high society. :)

A sun dress would work, however try to stear away from the wedding party colors.

A pretty, modest dress if nothing is stipulated as to dress code. However, if it says "Black Tie", the woman wears a long gown, and the man a tux.

i agree with the other posters. I would wear a dressy sundress and carry a fancy scarf for shawl for a little extra pizzazz.

Wear a summery dress that's not too low cut or revealing. Don't wear white.
