The vibe from you faith is negative. "We all fall short of" god, "all men have a sinful nature" it is rubbish. Why don't you lean to respect your fellow men instead of pretending there is big man in the sky? Are you scared of real life?
And I don't hate anyone.

Truth hurts, huh. It's not about hate, it's about pointing out that your religion is hateful. I really don't think you see how toxic, divisive and arrogant your beliefs are.
Jesus "can't wait to hopefully see us all"? You know what you're really saying when you say that. You know that you believe that Jesus will not see us all, that he will see you, and the others who are "saved", but not everyone. And you're ok with whatever happens to the rest, or you wouldn't ascribe to such a belief system in the first place. I do hate that, I must admit.
You worship a man who has been dead for 2000 years. While he was alive, he is reported to have told his followers that they had to follow him alone, and hate (his word) their families, or they couldn't follow him. Like all cult leaders, he fostered and promoted an us-against-them mentality. I hate that too.
This is the year 2007. The world is no longer filled with ignorant, superstitious people - they're still around, but there aren't as many of them as there once were. We've come a long way since the Bible was written, and we no longer worry about disappointing nonexistent deities. If you want to keep the Bronze Age mentality, that's your choice, but don't imply that I am somehow lacking because I don't choose to do so too.

Was it heavy? lol
Is this disregarding all the hateful comments regarding the way I live my life? In the name of God, I have been told that because I am Bi, I will dammned for all eternity and that I should repent my sins.
I dont care whether you are religious or not, I dont care about the colour of your skin, I dont care who you sleep with.
What I care about is whether you are kind, loving, forgiving, loyal and friendly. Its not gay people being nasty, its religious types trying to force the 'will of God' on to others that do not want it. But obviously there are faults on both sides.
If we were to continuously preach that your lifestyle and your beliefs are immoral would you not be offended by it?
We dont hate you, but we do not appreciate being told, when we are perfectly happy and not hurting anyone, that we should follow something we do not believe. Would you stop believeing in god if we said it was wrong?

You have seen mean things from SOME people and have extrapolated that to mean from ALL non-Christians. Whenever I make a criticism of folks being mean I make SURE that I let folks KNOW that I do NOT aim my criticism at EVERYONE, only the ones who are ACTUALLY being mean. AND I not only do it to the Christians, I do it for EVERYONE, including people of my OWN Faith. Perhaps if you acted in a likewise manner, you TOO would realize that EVERY Faith has SOME members who do NOT uphold the highest qualities of YOUR Faith. BE honest with your self, have you NOT seen that SOME Christians HAVE been out of line, have you NOT seen SOME atheists be nice, respectful and accepting? Please, do NOT generalize, based on the actions of only SOME of a particular group.
Brightest Blessings,

All people say mean things whether they are Christian or not. I have noticed this especially here on Y!A. The Bible says
Proverbs 15:1
A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.
There are non-believers out there who are more practised at this than some proclaiming christians I know.
The ultimate evidence of Christianity, when the Holy Spirit resides in you, is the fruit of the Spirit. Not fruits but fruit singular. With the Holy Spirit love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, and self-control start to bloom despite our sinful nature.

I don't hate you.
I think your ramblings are like that of a child saying that "the stork brought me" or insisting that the "moon is made of cheese", and "cooties".
It is amusing for a while but your mind must be shaped and educated from beyond the 4 year old level where you believe that superman, batman, god and the boogeyman exist and are real.

I am a christian and I don't hate anyone not even non believers. I get along with everyone. But I agree that some can get pretty negetive! Even those who say they are christian can be mean. But I think believers don't really get off on being mean like others.

I don't hate you, I don't know you. Is the assumption here that if I disagree with you, I hate you? Nope, not even close. When I'm insulted, I will say something, though. Don't mistake sticking up for myself for hatred, please.
And people who do believe in god say just as hurtful things, so don't pin all negativity on atheists, please.

It's a comforting thought, the idea of a God that loves you like a father, isn't it?
I don't hate you. I just hope you don't fall short of your fullest potential because of your beliefs.

I never did, I don't hate people and only dislike those that give me a very good personal reason to.
I don't agree with the tenants of your religion, however I respect your right to practice and believe.
