A week ago I felt like there could be something in my ear. It was a little sore. (No noise heard) and I had a cold. My boyfriend had the same signs. So though it was just the cold. Last night I tossed and turned as my ear kind of itched inside (same ear). I have not been sleeping well these past few weeks ever since I heard a story about a roach in my cousins friends bed. Is it in my mind?

i highly doubt it is a bug in your ear. I cant think of any insects off hand that would find comfort in someones ear canal. Even earwigs dont like ears. My vote is for "it's in your mind"

The only way to find out for sure it to get yourself to the doctor. You could just have an ear infection from the cold in which case you need to get yourself to the doctor. If it is a bug or an infection it could lead to more serious problems. So, my advice to you would be "Get yourself to the doctor".

Bugs certainly can get in there. If you're concerned you need to see your doctor and have him take a look.
