There are a lot of factors other than your age. My advice, don't do it at all until you're 21.

I really can't answer this question without knowing your weight, whether you're female/male, if you're the former, whether you're taking birth control, etc.

There are so many things that can affect how much you are able to drink. If you haven't drunk a lot or ever before, take it easy. Just start with two drinks and go slow. After that, if you're still good, drink another. Just go slow. Going slow is key. If you start seeing double, have trouble standing up, or feel like you might get sick, you've gone too far.

Another good way to go slow, but still get the effects is to drink a glass of water or soda between drinks. It helps balance it out and gives the alcohol from the previous drink a bit of time to actually start affecting you, thus, you can get a better idea of where you are on the drunk scale.

OK, I was going to say don't do it since it is illegal. but since you are in Germany, and it is legal, I will just say be moderate.

Stick to a glass of your great German Beer or a glass of wine with a meal. And no more than one or two more during the course of an evening. The secret to not making a fool of yourself is to be moderate. Sip, don't guzzle, set your limit, and don't excede it.

For a youngster such as yourself, I'd say two, maybe three pints of beer or two to three glasses of wine should be enough for one evening. If you drink much more than that, you will regret it the next day.

You really don't need booze to have a good time. But if you drink, don't drive.

You should start with a single beer, or glass of wine and leave it at that the first time. Age is only a small part of the equation. Your height, weight, and physical shape are also big factors in how much alcohol your body can absorb.

In any case, you don't want to overdo, especially in the summer when your body is already losing hydration due to summer heat. As your body loses moisture, alcohol will be more readily absorbed into your bloodstream, making it more "effective".

So start slowly and be sensible. Also, don't mix types of beverages...if you start with beer, stay with beer. If you start with wine, stay with wine. Both of these beverages can be refreshing and pleasurable. Stay away from harder liquors in general. They will only mess with your system (and your head). Eating while you drink will also slow the absorption of alcohol into your system.

Other things to consider before you drink:
Do you plan to drive or operate machinery?
Are you going to be involved in heavy physical activity?
Are you taking any prescription medications?
If you are female, are you pregnant or plan on getting pregnant?

If the answer to any of these is Yes, you should change your plans and have a nice glass of tea or water instead.

Don't start drinking at all. At such a young age it could lead easily to other things. Enjoy being a teenager, being young , stay away from drinking. Life is full of other wonderful things to do besides drink!!

if you weigh less than 80kg, don't wanna drink more than 4 drinks or so or you'll probably get sick. then again, if you wanna gain a tolerance you gotta press yourself.
