Well I havent been to church in a while and last night I had this weird dream. It started off first as a mother and daughter being attacked and mom the mom prays to god to send help. Then Im walking down a dark alley way and I get jumped and beat to death. As Im dieing I see a church bilboard and just start laughing and ask god if there was any way I could redeem my life I have lived. My soul lifts from my body and now Im looking at myself dieing. Then I feel a force like pull me and I end up by the mother and child and I save them. Only the little girl and the attackers saw me and they got scared and ran away. I stayed with the family for a while helping the little girl. Then one day I went back to the house and felt a evil presence. The mother felt it too and had a physic come. She said that she sensed an evil spirt and a good one. Then I saw the spirt trying to get the little girl so I stood in her doorway and fought the spirt off but Im starting to lose. What does this mean?

That is a deep dream. Know that this interpretation is not of myself but of the Father. The dark alley way is a representation of your life. You are living in the darkness. The attack on you is saying that if you stay on this course you will die an early death. The mother and the daughter show that someone near to your heart is in trouble and though maybe not physically they are being attacked. God is calling you to minister to them. But you have to make the choice to live in the light and serve God. This is where the last part of your dream comes in. When you come back you are trying to stop an evil spirit from entering the house. That is a representation of the spiritual struggle that you have to face to keep the evil out of your life. But you say that you are starting to lose this shows that you must rely on Christ to be your strength and refuge. This is what the Lord burned on my heart after reading your question. I hope I don't sound crazy because this is what the Lord told me.

Hmm...it might mean that you just ate something weird before going to bed that night. Well, I'm not sure but it seems like your trying to tell yourself that there is something you yourself can do to get to heaven. If you haven't ever read the book Sophie's World, it explains this really well. It says that our subconscience thoughts come out in weird ways sometimes. It could be through a slip of the tongue, or it could be a dream. I think maybe deep down you remember church but think that there is something you yourself can do to get to heaven, which isn't right. There is nothing you can do to get yourself in heaven, it's all God. What really makes me think this is where you say "and ask god if there was any way I could redeem my life I have lived." Or it could have something to do with the little girl. Did you know her? Maybe look closer into that part.

I don't know enough about you as a person to safely give an honest opinion. It may be a good idea to get back in church and get some counseling concerning this dream.
It may be that God is calling you to work with single mothers and children or it could be that you saw something on TV that got in your mind before bed.
Interpreting dreams can be hard.
Sometimes it's from God, sometimes it just your mind.

God bless

I mostly have vivid dreams when my life is routine and boring. That said, I've had a couple of good ones lately. LOL
Yours sounds like it would make for a good movie plot. Call Kirk Cameron, he'd probably star in it for ya. LOL, I dreamt I was sent to hell on an elevator with an angel bellboy in control. But hell turned out to be a laundrymat for those in heaven, so it wasn't that bad, I guess. (true story)

It could be that you at some point are suppose to be a role model and/or protector but in your mind you feel you have failed...or someone has told you that you are inadequate in the role that has either been forced on you or you assumed. The evil presence you feel could symbolize your defense/excuse for having not fulfilled you job up to par. Just my opinion.

It is a dream. No deep, dark meaning involved. Dreams are merely your subconscious mind being allowed to come out and play while you are sleeping. You probably read a story or watched some movie with a similar story line and it stuck.

You need to help someone, but first you need to save yourself...
Think how you were feeling during the entire dream. Sometimes dreams have no meaning at all, so it is always important to remember the feelings you had during the dream. The feelings could help decipher the meanings, or lack thereof.

Everyone from time to time has really weird and sometimes frightening dreams about ourselves or those we love. Most of the time it is your worries/fears manifesting themselves while you sleep.

This weird dream in my opinion is two-fold. It is your conscience convicting you that you have stepped away from God by not attending church and you worry about if you are really saved.

Dreams like this wake me up or I make myself wake up and whisper this, Jesus says, Fear not, for I am with thee and will never leave thee. And then say in the name of Jesus Christ, evil thoughts and fear be gone!"

So simple, right?
But so effective. The fear and the worries evaporate from my heart and my mind and I am able to go back to sleep and REST.

Why ask in the religious section? Dreams are a part of reality, you should ask people who base their perspective in reality.

Google "lucid dreaming." By lucidly dreaming, you'll be able to decipher the manifestations of your mind's thoughts during REM sleep (aka dreams).
