Has anyone any comments on which of these models is the best to buy.

The newest is the 97 hd model. Not too many have been sold - so there is very little feedback. But, one thing is certain, the Customer Aftercare could be better. There is a small problem with the ARS outlet valve - these are being replaced.
Have you seen the MITSUBISHI 42 inch Plasma hd model.
It has new Flat Definition and Non Reflecting surface. Easy to navigate. I am looking forwrad to watching Royal Ascot and Wimbledon on mine.

I assume you mean the Q97 vs the Q96? If that's so, then the Q97 is the newest. However, there is a 1080 model, the P96, coming soon, which is much higher spec than the Q97.
