The Bible has been under serious scrutiny for years and years and years. Still is. And no matter how much proof is given to show it is real, the scientists that arent Christian will discredit all of that truth and only prsent mainly their idea that it is false. all of the devil. Many scientsts know it is real, and you can read their writings anytime you want to search that out, many astronauts know it is truth too. But, we that belive dont mind it being under a microscope, for our faith is strong and we know its all truth. Too bad we cant get even more to look at these facts, instead of just taking what the other so called scientist shove down our throats, that is all jus tmere theory and supposition. The Bible even warns of this and says when science, or knowledge runs contrary to Gods word, we know it is false Way back then, God knew the whole theory of big bang and evolution, all of it would come in. devil sends his seeds of DOUBT, as always. But it is our choice to search for truth and know that it is real, that God is God. Jesus is coming soon, I would advise anyone to find Gods truth SOON, for we must know and accept Jesus and obey Him before we die or Jesus comes again. Choose wisely. Faith still moves mountains today. I pray your mountain be moved, your mountain of doubt and unbelief. If you ask God to reveal truth to you, He will. Get a Bible, study and know, pray and ask Him for truths and if you will hear , believe and follow Jesus your truths will come sometimes almost overnight. God bless you in your search. LEt nothing or noone keep you from all that God has for you. Nothing is worth losing out on God and forever Heaven for. NOTHING or NOONE. Seek and you will find and all will be added unto you.

The scientific method does not include "inquiry". There is first an hypothesis formed, from which, following some supporting proof, a theory is expounded to all other scientists and after exhaustive tests, none of which can contradict the theory, a scientific truth is "found".
All of this is done concerning matter and the properties of matter. What would you test in a Bible - the paper or the ink or both? To "inquire" into the Bible is analogous to having all poetry approved by a Senate committee before publication!!
You have your faith in the God of Science, let others have their faith in the God of Creation.
"Forgive them, Father, for they know not what they do."...but they are inquiring, Lord!

The Bible deals with the spiritual and supernatural which are not within the scrutiny of scientific enquiry. Science cannot tell you that man has a spirit, for instance. Science is limited to coping with issues of the natural only.

It already has been, and it was found to be desperately inaccurate in terms of it's history, science, morality and even it's own internal consistency. pi = 3? The world is ~6000 years old? A flood covered all the earth, including Mt Everest?
Why did Jesus never cure an amputee?
Why would anyone, in the face of the overwhelming evidence of the incorrectness of the bible on so many levels, maintain that it is "truth"?

Great question. People do not put it under that kind of analysis because everything the bible says cannot hold up against strong scrutiny and scientific inquiry. Example, someone actually rising from the dead, parting of the seas, exorcisms. None of it holds water in reality.

actaully it holds up to all scientific scrutiny....show me one thing in the bible that contradicts science. i have studied this in detail and have not found any basis for your view.

Scapegoat, you try and back Christians into a corner, but cannot answer one of my questions.. and when you did (one time) you only talked hot air and didn't answer my question. Do you merely get on here to make your self-esteem feel a little higher? I hope not, because to break you back down to reality im guessing you probably believe everything science tells you, when they merely cannot prove there "big theories" 100% and nether there origin of species, etc etc. Are you living in the faith of science?
Point is stop trying to bash Christians and look at your own beliefs.
