I lived in the United Kingdom, but I work online and my work is in situated in Florida and I have a bank account opened in Florida, US. Where would my tax be claimed? In the United Kingdom because I live there or Florida because my work is situated there?

I know there is no income tax in Florida that is why I am asking.

If you are a UK resident and ordinarily domiciled in the UK then you are liable for income tax on your worldwide earnings. The UK has a double taxation agreement with the US that means that you will only be taxed once. Register with both tax authorities and ask them to send you the necessary information to complete the US and UK tax returns.

The United States claims it has the power to tax your income from all US sources no matter where you live. If you are a US citizen, it is fairly difficult to defeat this claim even if you are not initially detected ... the statue of limitations for income tax fraud runs for years.

Can't say what the Inland Revenue [UK] thinks about this situation as I'm a Yank and in Florida.

If you are a US citizen then your tax obligations are discharged in the US. If you are a UK citizen then your tax obligations are discharged in the UK. Where ever you have to pay you will only have to pay once.
