Eve made from Adams rib - i dont think so lmao

It is just the beginning of a wonderful piece of fiction. If people would read it like a fairy tale, it is wonderful, but the fact that people base their life on this book is ridiculous, and especially the part about Adam and Eve. It is said that God created Adam form the dust of the earth, and Eve from Adam's rib bone. My question is, if God can create the whole universe, including his own home, (God created the Heavens and The Earth) why did he need to use anything to make man. Even more so, why did he need Adam to make Eve. Furthermore, God told them to go forth and multiply. That is all fine and good, but how did they get past the first generation. Incest causes many birth defects, and most likely even more so because mommy and daddy were perfect genetic matches. This story is not possible, and no amount of "faith" can make it so. It is beyond me that people in this day and age can not see the bible for what it is. A piece of fiction, written by man several hundred years ago.

For Christians this cannot be swept aside and said to be fable. On the existence of Adam and Eve rest the reason for Christ's coming, the ransom, and the explanations regarding why the world is in so much trouble now.

Yoda Green above makes a Good point about the 4 main types or humans, You have the Whites, Blacks, Asians and Indians and not many people are aware that their are two different times lines when God created and then formed man. Look too Genesis Chapter 2 and 3 the six day creation he created man to have dominian over the fish of the sea, and the fowl of the air, and over the cattle and herbs, and over all the Earth he said replenish and multiply, these were your hunters and fishers of the sea and lets not forget the gathers............Genesis ch 2 verse 2 and after the seventh day God rested and then we go to the middle of verse 5 and it reads ........God had not caused it to rain upon the earth and there was not aman to till the ground and then he formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breathe of life and man became a living soul. Verse 8 and the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden , and there he put the man whom he had formed............He put this man whom he formed in the Garden which is the white race in whom which
christ was born through .......but you go back to Genisis CHAPTER 1 VERSE 26-30 and he created this man and told him to subdue the whole earth and multiply then you have to realize we have different types of people that were made for different purposes you have those that he created, those fishers hunters and herb gathers so they would subdue the whole earth and multiply and you have those that were not created but formed for a different purpose that were placed specifically in the garden and breathed his spirit into him ....this is the tiller of the ground the white man and all the other races were created to replenish so gods creation was good ......but the one whom he formed he used them for a specific purpose so that all might except the lord....this is the line through which christ was born. I hope this helps........I hope i didn't confuse you if you are more interested in learning more on this subject in depth...just email me.........Thanks

The religious and scientific answer to the first question is simply yes! On 11th January 1988, the Newsweek Magazine carried an article which stated that studies by molecular biologists of an international assortment of genes had put them on the trail of the mitochondrial Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA).

The studies were carried out on both black and caucasian women "with ancestors from Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Asia". Despite the fact that the women "were from widely different racial and geographical backgrounds", the geneticists "found that all had identical stretches of the mitochondrial DNA, which is inherited only from mothers and therefore not a mixture of parental genes". This has led them from a Qur’anic and Biblical perspective back to the idea of a common ancestor: "to a single women from whom we are all descended". The report went on to say, "most evidence so far indicates that Eve"..."was more likely a dark-haired, black skinned woman (who) lived in sub-Saharan Africa." It is believed that our common ancestor - African Eve - must has lived "between 100,000 and 200,000 years ago", and this is consistent with the findings related to Adam. This finding adds weight to the Biblical and Qur’anic statements about the existence of a Hawa (Eve), the mother of all humanity, who was not a product of an accident or chance in nature, but was created and fashioned by the Creator. Also, it is yet another piece of evidence for the authenticity of the Holy Qur’an, stating long before this discovery:

"The Revelation of this Book is from Allah, the Exalted in Power, Full of Wisdom... He created you (all) from a single Person:... created, (out of it) of like nature his mate... and from them twain scattered (like seeds) countless men and women" (S. 39:1,6: S: 4:1).

This passage was also telling the men of science that to progress their understanding about humanity’s common ancestor they must seek to establish Hawa’s origin and indeed humanity’s from a single individual, named Adam.

A creation myth that ancient pre-scientific people created to explain their existence and their world. I find it and all other creation myth stories very interesting as an insight into our past in terms of cultures and societies. I think there is a lot of rich symbolism and allegory. I feel a little bit baffled by people who still take such stories as literal in modern society.

Hmmmmm.... I guess no matter what religion you are there had to be some Adam and Eve, merely the first man and first woman. What they did or did not do, or what they came from, is what differs.

The fact humans make up stories like this should hardly be surprising. What is surprising is that some people are actually gullable enough to believe them.

There are deep spiritual meanings in this story if creation. It shows man fall according to the law (the tree of knowledge of good and evil) Man was not perfect and could not live up to God's righteouness. The wages of sin is death. It also shows Go's mercy and his plan of salvation for his creation in the tree of life. Salvation through our lord Jesus Christ.

The story of adam and eve is a myth.
Nothing more.
There is no way that one person (who's mate is a clone of himself) could produce the 4 major blood types and many sub types present today.
