Here is what I think....Teresa thinks that just because she was Dale's wife it gives her the right to decide what is best for DEI. Dale Sr. formed that company FOR JR!!! If she was bitchy enough to not allow Jr. to acquire controlling shares of stock, what would give anybody the idea that she would give up the #8?!?!? She is a control freak who wouldn't know the right thing to do if it was spelled out for her in black and white!!! I have never been an Earnhardt fan, but even I know what's right!! Teresa has dishonored the legend and legacy of Dale Earnhardt Sr.

There is some misinformation here. Budweiser's contract with DEI has an escape clause if Jr leaves DEI. They have no obligation to DEI after this season. They can resign with them if they wish but there is no contract to get out of.

Hendrick, Jr and Bud will combine to make it worth while for DEI. If not, I pity the poor driver who gets the 8, I can hear the boos already.

I'm not so sure, I mean she wouldn't even give him a big share in DEI so I'm pretty sure it'll either take a lot of money or she won't sell it. Although the least she could do is let them have the 8 in exchange for one of Hendricks # like either the 5 or 25. I would love to see Jr. stay in the 8. Best of luck to Jr.

I would say it is a good bet that she will sell it. Budweiser has too much of an investment in Jr to allow Teresa very much room to manipulate the talks. I think Budweiser will force Teresa to allow them to buy out their contract with DEI and throw in extra cash for the sale of the #8. If Teresa knows anything at all about business, she knows she will be losing at least 40 million in the next two years with no way to make that income up, regardless of whatever sponsorships she picks up. Of course this is all speculation on my part.

Yes, if she lands Kyle Busch she will look to trade the 8 outright for the 5. That'd be great business too. But, I'm hopin' Kyle is smart enough not to sign with D.E.I. I think his best interest points are with Richard Childress Racing, or Ginn Motorsports. I'd love to see Kyle in a RCR chevy next year with Harvick, Burton, and Bowyer.. But he would still be 3rd man on the totem-pole @ RCR. If he signed w/ Ginn, He'd be head-honcho.. Even D.E.I. would make him #1 on the team... So all depends on what Kyle wants... Good, Solid Team w/ awesome teammates.. or D.E.I/Ginn
