My best friend is getting married next April. I am matron of honour however I live in the Uk and she in the USA. She wants to buy dresses in the States for the wedding party. She has her heart set on Tiffany Blue colour but many of the big US
bridal chains don't seem to have that colour. Do you know of any stores or websites that stock this colour in adults and kids dresses. Also, I am a US size 14, so would like to be a bit more covered up and different from the other (slim) bridesmaid. Do you have any suggestions, we would be so grateful, Thank you!

The maid of honor can wear a totally different dress. I would get it in the UK. She can get the rest of the Bridesmaid's dresses in the US. That way you can also get the dress altered to fit you at home. Probably a lot better option.

Look up Carolina Blue, or shades of turquoise. That name especially has shades all across the board. Aquamarine. Also anything in cornflower varies from rather close to Tiffany's (to a cloudy grey depending on store). Something like silver blue would be nice for the matron. Close and would be a slight accent.

Also check out this store

Bridal Online Store has tons of gorgeous ones and I think the aquamarine color is gorgeous. However you really need to not try to exactly match if you aren't getting the same dress. It's going to look off. What is the other color? I think Apricot is beautiful. Or Champagne. Or is she doing it with chocolate which is very common. Many times the MOH wears the other accented color. Or go with a slightly off shade of blue but off enough so that it is obviously not suppose to go. But in the same family of shades. Davids Bridal Oasis or Calypso, perhaps Marine. I like Smoke personally! I think that would go nicely.

But if you aren't getting the same dress I wouldnt get a "close enough but a couple shades off" b/c in the pictures its going to look like your dress wasnt quite right--instead of deliberately different.

Hope these help!

The color "Pool" at David bridal is a beautiful version of Tiffany's Box Blue.

They have a great assortment of shapes and sizes of dresses. I'm sure you could all find something there.

there are many bridal salons that cater to all wishes...you might go to demetrios or on the internet get to various bridal designers and they make to order...Another idea is that being that mother-of- the bride dresses are also beautiful and usually carry many colors , more than bridemaids gowns . but you just need patients...if you are in the states , you have wonder salon...David's Bridals ...talk to them...good luck
