I've used that before. Dreams are a way of our subconscious helping us deal with things in our waking lives.
Your dreams seem to be reflecting wishful thinking, that you could be with your boyfriend again.

I know this has to be a hard time for you. I will be praying for you. (I hope that's okay.)

When my twin sister died, I dreamed about her all the time. One time, she came to me in a dream and told me that she was very happy where she was, that she was fine, and that she would always love me.

You need time to get over with this loss feeling. The dreams you have basically represent there is still loss residing in your subconscious mind.

Dreaming yourself to be passed away to be just with him symbolizes something you cannot give up and rather you want to give up your life because deep down you feel hurt and not supported in many ways. That is why the shadow of y our boy friend is still with you.

Do something else, concentrate on other things and perhaps, time will wash off your pain and the dreams may go away.

I'm very sorry for your loss..... there are 5 stages to the grieving process, denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. You are trying to work through your grief.... It sounds to me like you might be working through the bargaining stage, and asking questions of yourself such as, "If I die too, will I be with him again?", or "Is there anything I could do to get God to give him a second chance?". Don't allow these daydreams to lead you into thinking that if you die too, everything will be ok, it will be far from ok if you do that. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other, and working out your feelings about it, one day you will come to the final stage, acceptance, and be ready to move on with your life. You may find it useful to get some grief counseling or a support group for awhile, and you will see that you aren't the only one who has those sort of feelings, good luck, and take care of yourself.....

No these dreams are normal for a person who has lost a loved one. I has similar desires when my daughter was murdered. There are even songs about it; "One More Day" by Diamond Rio. There's nothing wrong with it. They do end eventually.
