The closest one to Rome would be Fregene.It is about 45 minutes by bus from the center.It is a nice beach resort,with plenty of places to swim,and a few great restaurants,too.Have a great trip!

Take a look at a map and then work out just how long you have to travel before you hit the med or the adriatic.
