If he's into sports. Try and check around Ebay or somewhere for some sports memorabillia. Something autographed by his favourite sports person. Tickets to whatever he's into ( footy, basketball etc. ) Combine the tickets with a nice hotel/weekend away. I'm sure he'd love that. Buy some new lingerie and you can both enjoy a great night of lovin` after the game. Would be great I think.

Instead of buying him something, what if you made something? Or took him out for an unforgettable night?
For my boyfriend's graduation, we're both very much into art and enjoy making it, so I bought a pretty journal and filled the pages with drawings, photos, song lyrics, poems, quotes, and letters and pictures from our good friends. I also threw in some crossword puzzles and wordsearches. =P

How about treating him (and yourself) to a romantic dream vacation (or even weekend) together? For whatever it is worth, the best present I ever gave to my husband when we were married was a three week parachuting vacation, because it was his dream, which he thought he was too old to fulfill. His friends thought I wanted to get rid of him(!) and in fact he did break his leg during the last jump, but he was so happy that he finally fulfilled his dream that he never again complained of feeling too old!
