Might want to get her checked out at the vet. If her behavior has changed recently, there might be something wrong.

You just need to break the habit. Get a dog crate and put her there at bedtime after she's had a walk. Leave a cuddly toy and a chew in the crate and make sure she has some water. Then close your door, go upstairs and completely ignore her barking and whining. She will eventually settle. Make sure you get down early in the morning to praise her and let her out for a pee. After a few days you should be able to leave the crate open and she will still sleep there. Never ever weaken and let her back up to your room or you'll have to start all over again! It worked with my cocker spaniel, who was driving us nuts!!!Good on you for taking on a rescue dog.

Ignoring the behavior when the dog whines and barks is the best way to stop her from doing it. if you get aggravated at her, and show her attention every morning at that time, she will get use to getting her way. I firmly believe that some dogs are like humans, and they do have feelings. I have a dog, and it was hard to get him to stop whining and crying at night, but once they see that you are serious and you mean business and they learn not to do it, they wont. just be patient. also about the snoring... you could take her to the vet and have it checked out if the problem is persistant.

Try a dog cage my dog would do this to so i would settle her in the cage with her bed and water and i covered the cage with a cover, she had a bark I went downstairs squirted a small amount of water through the bars of the cage along with NO put the cover back down and returned to bed, I only had to do this at most twice she soon understood the routine, now she will only whine loudly if she needs a pee( which is acceptable) so it is worth sticking with it as in the long term you need some time to yourself.

She is doing it for attention and you are playing right into her hands by going down to comfort her. Just ignore her. When you leave the room to go to bed at night don't make a fuss, just close the door behind you - making a fuss will just make her anxious. In the morning when you go down, make a fuss of her - lots of smooths and cuddles and good girls! When you say she is kept indoors - I am assuming that you only mean at night - i.e. you take her out for walks etc!. Perhaps a quick whizz around the block at night might tire her out too. If her barking is really loud you should perhaps just pop around to the neighbour and just apologise in advance if she barks - you will want to keep them onside.

A well-trained dog makes everyone happy, including his owner. Take a little time training him, and you'll never regret it; you'll always have an obedient dog by your side. Find more https://tr.im/JKTdN
By their nature, dogs are pack animals with a well-defined social order. Through basic training, you need to consistently make sure your puppy understands that you are the leader, not him. So in teaching him the basic rules, you take on the role of pack leader.
To fit into the family circle, your dog must be taught to recognize his name and such commands as come, heel, lie down and sit.

Just be firm...be calm and assertive. When she is like this she is in an anxious state of mind, which makes you anxious and I'll bet just a little angry. If you are in a calm asseritve state, she will be to. Achieve this by not giving in and not rewarding bad behavior. Giving in to her needs makes for a worse problem and even harder to break. You are rewarding her bad behavior by going downstairs or putting her in your room. This will not be a quick "overnight" fix. It is something that you need to work on. Rememeber, the more you give in the worse it will be.

Don't get up for her! She's got a reaction out of you whether you like it or not so thinks that crying in the morning that she will get your attention again! I know it's hard not to, especially at 4am when you're tired & want to sleep but what would you rather?

Set up a nightime routine, let her out in the garden or take her around the block. Take her to her bed and leave her with a chew. If you think it would help, leave the radio on low as it helps to soothe some dogs. Persevere you will get there in the end. To begin with you may have to go down at 4am, let her out, put her back in her bed and leave her again. Gradually take it to 4.15, 4.30 etc, etc, but please make sure that she isn't desperate to 'go'.

Leave the radio on,the talking will be reassuring for i as she feels it is not alone.Wrap a ticking clock in a blanket, this will remind it of your/its mothers heartbeat. And just leave it be when it whines, get a crate too as they are good, put it in the crate, take it for a walk before so its tired, then shut it in the crate, put in the clock with the blanket, and leave the radio on.If it starts whining.leave her and just try and cover up the sound and get some sleep, you'll only have to put up with her for a few nights, then it'll forget and just keep on snoring. If you keep coming down it won't settle in and become too independent on you.If you bring it into your room, you'll have to put up with its snoring for the rest of your life(also it asserts dominace as thaats your room shes taken over)!Hope i helped
