i have been getting quite friendly with this bloke and he said that he is usually a good judge of character when it comes to girls.............

In this instance he is obviously doubting how good his judge of character really is. Rather than asking this question on Yahoo. I suggest you ask him what he means by that. At least you will have a correct answer (or at least one that he wants to tell you) and not just a lot of guesswork.

I'd say he's interested in you, but doesn't know whether you are attracted to him or not, and he is seeking clarification. He didn't want to blunder in with 'so, do you fancy me or what?!', or be embarrassed by rejection, so he's trying to be a bit more subtle about it. If you like him just give him some good strong signals. Or better still, ask him out.

Perhaps its because you're not really yourself around him. Maybe you're trying too hard to impress him or maybe you're a bit shy and not really able to relax around him properly. I think he could mean it in terms that he's not sure how to read you - whether you really like him or not? Or he may mean it in terms of he's not sure what you're really like? Ultimately, if you can't communicate this early on then why are you bothering? Why not just ask him to clarify what he means?

i think he means he would like to get to get to know you more he doesnt quite know how to judge you because he is needing to hang with you and see how yas ger on i think he might like you in the way you want him to.
