I would have a normal dream but when it came to waking up I couldn't. It sucked, like when i tried waking up my eyes felt real heavy! I remember I would tried to calm myslef down and say "Ok, Paula this is just a dream..." and eventually I would wake up.
Does anyone know why this happens what it is called??

When I said my eyes felt real heavy I meant like glued together heavy. Um, or I would try to move and I couldn't. This was probably an everynight thing. It sucked!

It sounds like sleep paralysis. Your mind will have already woken, but your body hasn't really started up yet.

I've experienced it myself sometimes. You cant move, open your eyes or even call out for help.

What you've been doing is great, try to stay calm, it takes a few seconds for your body to catch up (although it feels like minutes)

Seems to me you were exhausted from your pregnancy. The body undergoes a lot of stress during this time. You actually didn't want to wake up because you would then have to go through work and other daily activities when you really needed more rest.
