I have a phone number that I want to look up and I have tried calling it but it is no longer in service. Is there a way to find out who the number belonged to?

I forgot to mention that I did the reverse lookup and it showed no results. The phone number is 4734442300

if reverse look-up doesn't work, go to the local small library....there you will find still the old-fashioned phone-books.....there always take there sweet old time to replace it!!

Some business usually had directories with lists of phonenumbers for a city and matching names by street reference and then a reverse directory system. I think the library reference dept could help you out, our library here stores the old ones.
call them and ask

Call directory assistance for that area; they might be able to get you to a customer service rep who might help
