Dehydration. Alcohol will dehydrate you bad. When you are drinking you need to drink water also during that time. If you notice, the next day you drink a lot more fluids wandering why your so thirsty. Well that's why. It took me a while to figure that out. Same thing happened to me.

Well for one thing, you get dehydrated with alcohol, but that really shouldn't make you hurt like that for a long period of time. My guess would be, your activities while you are drinking are the culprit. Do you dance, or stay on your feet the whole time you are out? That would be more likely for your achiness on the dreaded "day after".
