My brother in law has two very sweet pit-bulls dogs. One is a grown female and the other is her male puppy. He keeps them both in a small cage where they are so tight they cannot move or stand. The dogs are rarley feed or given water. I been thinking about calling the ASPCA ; but will i get my brother in law in trouble? Or should i do it anyway for the sake of the helpless dogs?

call-- they will get mean and have to be destroyed with ill care. This way, they still have a chance of adoption. Your BIL will never know you called. They won't tell him who called.

You need to call the authorities. NOW. What your brother in law is doing to those dogs is abuse, pure and simple. If he thinks treating dogs in that way is acceptable he needs to be locked up and never allowed to own another animal for life. Will he get in trouble? I certainly hope so -- as I said, what he is doing is animal cruelty. Do the right thing and put a stop to it. Those dogs deserve better.

No one likes reporting family members for something illegal or bad that their doing, try talking your brother in law in to take much better care of his dogs or if you want to you can ask him if he will give you the dogs for you to take care of them. But if he says no I guess you will just has to call ASPCA.

Your brother in law deserves to be in trouble for his inhumane actions. You do realize that knowing about this and not reporting it could get you in trouble too!
Save the dogs and save your own butt too. Would serve your brother right if he were caged in prison like he has caged these dogs. I doubt he would be, but it seems like a wonderful option to me.

this is why pits get the rep they get. it's because of idiots like him. they are quarentined and when they get out they are pissed. call the aspca. who cares if he gets in trouble? the dogs need room to run and play. it's the breed. if he can't handle the dogs, he either gets rid of them or he let's them breathe. by the way, pits get very aggressive when they are malnourished. stay away from those two dogs.

that is cruel! you need to take action for those poor dogs and get them help. you can make an anonymous call to the ASPCA. There is no doubt that is animal cruelty. Its not fair either to know what is happening to those poor dogs and not to do anything for them. Get them help fast!!!!

JUST CALL !!! Family or not, If I see dogs being miss treated & not being taken care of I will report them in a heart beat. All animals needs someone to speak for them!! Please call. They will not tell your brother it was you that called. Do not hesitate!!! I wonder why he has one Pit, let alone two?? Just so he can say, I" I have two Pit- Bulls."

I would call or take them from him myself. That is not fair to the dogs. Why have them at all? Being without food, exercise and attention will turn a nice dog mean.

I would call the SPCA, it is your responsibility to do good to make this world a better place. If you know some woman or child is being abused in your neighborhood, would you judt let it go? or call a police ? You would be doing the right logical thing wouldn't you ?
