Eventually it will set you free even though it can cause more trouble than it's worth at the time. Living with a lie is terrible for the soul.

(John 5:22) For the Father judges no one at all, but he has committed all the judging to the Son,

John8[kjv]
31Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

John 14:6[kjv]Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

JESUS loves you.Have u recieved JESUS for the forgiveness of your sins?

John 3:16[kjv] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

so when we believe in JESUS we have eternal life.JESUS lived a sinless life and gave up his life as a sacrifice so we can be sin free. Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur past with the blood JESUS shed on the cross.

With a simple prayer like above u can be saved.JESUS loves u and wants u to be saved.

No. Not by anymeans. I have been falsely accused and stated to the people involved that they will find out I was not involved in the situation that their fantasy led them to believe. It is funny in a lot of ways...I had/have a very nice friend who at the time had two kids. The littliest one was about two years old and I had to give her something in person. At the time she was not home but her husband and the youngest were home. She was due in shortly. I proceeded to fold the diapers on the couch as the little one kept bringing me dark clothes from the bedroom. She accused me of with her husband. I was miffed that she would believe anything went on. About a dozen years later/divorce etc. she saw me and apologized. I told her she would always be in my good graces as a friend. We hugged.
On the other hand: Do not let in law have any upper hand dealing with anything personal...they love to grandstand. This problem with them will be with me for the rest of my life and no amount of truth is going to set me free.

Actually, the notion that the truth will set you free is one of the few sensible things that Jesus said. Telling the truth is a lot easier than lying - no fibs to keep track of. "Truth" in religion is another matter, however, and one man's truth is another man's idiocy.

the truth of who you are sets you free of the delusion of being this limited ego/body/mind. We are spiritual souls with potentials we can't imagine, heirs to planes of existence waiting for us to evolve to a place where we could live there. Abilities and levels of being that we grow into.
