i had an account with bank of scotland a couple of years ago when i turned 18 , i went over my limit without realising it and suddenly got loads of charges that i was unable to pay , being young scared and stupid i did a runner .When i did try to sort it out there min payment a month was just tooo high i coulnt afford it .4 years on this has turned into a nightmare i now owe over 4000 pounds but this has been passed on to a debt agency according to the bank and they will not deal direct also the agency who are contacting me cannot provide proof that they are to collect the debt .I want to try and sort this out but really have no idea where to start ???????????????? im at university so not absolutely minted but would like to start to get rid of this but how ???????????????????
and before anyone says it i will i , yes i got into this mess myself but i think it is unfair how banks target 18's

Am not 100% sure but after 6 years the debt can become null and void. They can't take what you don't have.

You need help - go talk to the CAB (I assume you are in the UK from your ID) they will help you through this and deal with the debt collectors as well.

Do it today.

Good luck

in case your telling the truth'' if i were you i wouldn't tell this stuff nation wide. this is how they make money stealing such talk like yours and will use it to hurt you like it or not. next time keep it to yourself or maybe you like being hurt if what you said is true.''
