I think those who want to find God will be with God in heaven. God, and not heaven, is the real reward for seeking God. We get what we want.

It's not about anything that WE could do to get into Heaven. If that were the case, then what would be the point of the sacrifice that Jesus made. Do you think God would've allowed His Son to be sacrificed if all we had to do is be "good" to get in? God knows that perfection in His law is required and that, from birth, we do not obey His laws. In light of His law, I am not a good person. Therefore, a perfect sacrifice is necessary. Almost like a fine being paid to the Judge on my behalf for being a lawbreaker.

If you are a good person and do good deeds but do not believe in God then there would be three reasons. Firstly you are soft hearted person, secondly, you always has desire that other people admire you. Thirdly, you are a greedy person.

if you believe in God, love him and believe in hereafter (life after death) and keen to get reward from God only and you always do good deeds becose God asked you to do good things and HE likes then definitely you will get reward and Insha-Allah will go to the heaven (and paradise for you). Otherwise can never go to heaven .....no....never.

Well that depends on what religious viewpoint you were speaking from.

In catholicism and Christianity, you must accept God and the fact that he sent his son to be your lord and savior, to die on the cross for you, so that you would be forgiven for your sins.
(Reference John verse 3:16 in a christian bible)

In some other religions like the church of jesus christ of latterday saints, (mormonism) everybody goes to heaven, but there are different levels of heaven depending on how you follow the church and worship and spread the word. I believe the lowest level is something said to be like earth.

I am not to sure about any other religions, but hopefully you will get other feedback to your question.

According to the good book - no.. you are stuffed
PS If you don't belive in God then there is no heaven to it's not really a problem. If you do belive in God why wouldn't there be a heaven. Either way I wouldn't worry

The only way it could be fair, and just is this way. You can't be good enough to get in on your own merits, or bad enough not to be accepted. Salvation is a free gift, FREE GIFT, to everyone. If we had to work our way into Heaven then it would be another money/ political thing. The problem is, it is to simple for the human ego.

I never "wear" good people, or bad ones!
BUT I think that if you do not believe in god, you would also not believe in heaven, thereby not needing to worry about going there or not. Or at least, that is my opinion.

If you didn't believe in God, why would you care about Heaven?

There are only two requirements for us to go to Heaven and have eternal life with God.

Firstly, we have to accept Jesus Christ as true God AND true man. There was a man by the name of Jesus Christ who existed some 2000 years ago. So He is not a myth. Jesus said in John 14:6 that He is “the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Where is the Father? He is in Heaven. How can we go to the Father in Heaven. Through Jesus Christ.

Secondly, we have to follow the commandments of Jesus as stated in Matthew 22:37-40, Mark 12:30-31, John 13:34; 15:12, 17, namely: “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.” and “Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.” Remember that what we do to our fellowmen, we do that to God (Matthew 25:35-46).

If by being a good person, do you mean not doing anything bad to his fellowmen? If so, he may not be doing anything bad to his fellowmen but he does not do anything good for his fellowmen either. What is he therefore? Useless! Do you think God will accept to His kingdom such a useless person? And do you think God will accept him if he does not acknowledge Him? Remember the two requirements to be met in order to go to Heaven.

If, on the other hand, you mean that a person is good because he does good works for his fellowmen, do you think God will accept him to his kingdom if he does not acknowledge Him? Jesus said that if we deny Him in this world, He will also deny us before His Father in Heaven.

So if we are doing good works for our fellowmen, let us include also faith in God. We can only enter His kingdom by believing in Jesus and following His commandments by doing good works for our fellowmen.
