This is a question but I'm sure some jerk will report it within the hour. Will you pray for my brother? He's is just on a path to hell. Right now he is in the county jail for a DWI. From what I hear he is also leaving his wife and moving to another state to live with another brother. The man needs some serious Holy Spirit intervention. Would you please pray for him?

Yes, I will lift your brother in prayer and also post him on another prayer list. I will ask the Lord to intercede for your brother. May the Lord bless you for having the faith to request prayer for your brother. What a great brother you are!
God bless you and your dear brother!

Absolutely.

I actually had a situation that I was really worried about...my niece was in a TERRIBLE relationship with a guy who wasn't even worthy to breathe the same air as her. He's heavily into drugs and alcohol, doesn't have a good job, and is incredibly selfish and self-centered. When my niece miscarried their baby, he went to the hospital only long enough to drop off clothes, but didn't stay to find out how she was, or even to comfort her.
Because of him, she was on the verge of suicide.

I had been praying for her, but she was just being...well...a typical young adult ("I know better than everyone else, even my aunt who's been in EXACTLY the same kind of relationship..."). Incredibly stubborn.

Anyway, last week, she FINALLY understood what a jerk this guy is, and they broke up. She's making a VERY fast recovery from it, and she's already bouncing back into her usual happy self.

I've seen prayer work...so I know it does. God's will will be done in your brother's life, and I'm confident that it will work out for the best.

I find it amazing that people are giving negative ratings to the users who offered to pray. People, a 'thumbs down' on Yahoo!Answers isn't going to change anyone's heart. You criticize instead of appreciate the differences the world has to offer. And for goodness sake, would it kill you all to embrace charity for your fellow man? We're all humans at the core, don't let spiritual or intellectual choices stop you from enjoying the harmony of loving your neighbor as yourself. Instead of saying this guy is silly, why don't you show the better side of yourself and offer to send positive thoughts, good vibes, or whatever it is you do? True... ?

That being said, I will send positive energy and think of your family tonight. I hope your brother is making the best decision he possibly can within his means.

Very appropriate question since this is the Religion and Spirituality section.
I pray that God will open this person's heart and understanding to what God is trying to tell him. I pray this person will heed the words of the Holy Spirit as the Spirit of God speaks sofly to his spirit. I pray that this person understands Satan only wants to deceive and destroy, and that nothing good can come from Satan's influence.
I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen

May God bring comfort and peace to you and family. During this crisis I pray God will manifest His awesome power and love for your family and may your brother be guided by God's Spirit onto the path of redemption. In Jesus name, Amen!

Yes. But you need to pray and not tie God's hands in this matter. In other words, be willing to pray, "Lord, whatever it takes to reach my brother, do it!" Sad to say, some people have to hit rock bottom. I had a brother-in-law like that. But today he's serving God. God can and wants to reach your brother as well. God bless.

Holy Father, stretch out your hand before your child who now is incarcerated, so that he will know Thou art present to him in his hour of need. Infuse his heart with they Holy Spirit, that he may be open to right thinking, and lead to a charitable and forgiving nature. Be present in the minds and souls of those who have custody over him, and those who would judge him in this world so that all might take their place as thy true and humble servants in the world to come, knowing that it is in they service alone that we are at peace with one another and with Thee. This we pray in the name of thy blessed Son who gave his life for us, our Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Father, I come to You in the name of my Lord Jesus Christ. Lord, You see his brother's heart. You see his hurts, pains, and mistakes. Lord, in faith I give him into Your loving hands. I pray that Your precious blood would cover him and that You would shield him from the plans of Satan who wants to destroy him. I come against you Satan in the name of Jesus. I bind your works and your plans for this man in Jesus name. Lord, may Your will be done in his life. May You open his eyes to see the truth and be set free.

I pray for this man too - that You would fill him with love for his brother, and wisdom and that You would give him peace from the Holy Spirit.

Thank You Jesus, for Your love and mercy. Amen.

I have no idea why anyone would report this type of question. Clearly, you're worried about your brother and have his best interests at heart. It sounds like you honestly should. I can't pray for him in the manner that you're requesting, but I will send along my heartfelt wishes that he gets his crap together.

All the best,

Lazarus

Ususally, I don't do requests as I believe it arrogant and selfish to ask God to alter the master plan for my wants and needs, but...for your wants and needs

Okay.

God, let >your< will be done for this man's brother. And thank you in advance for your decision. Amen.
