My answer is NO. Alcohol is harmful to the thin layer of the underarm skin. Use deodorant or anti-bacterial soap and apply Antiperspirant and deodorant protection right after taking a bath or shower.

I have accidentally found that using 90% rubbing alcohol has finally solved my underarm odor problem. I found that the name brand deodorants have no longer really worked for me for the past 20 years. The alcohol in a small spray bottle really works. Also spray it into a smelly kitchen sink and it rids odors. It is fabulous to clean countertops ad disinfect them. After all, they use this alcohol on your arm to kill germs when they give you a shot so it is a killer of germs and I believe safe. .They say the aluminum chlorides in regular underam deodorant can cause cancer anyways.

It must be a cooling feeling I'm assuming, but it shouldn't be dangerous. Rubbing alcohol? If so, then safe.

most under-arm deodorants have alcohol in them.
it might dry your skin out quite a lot, though.
