Merry Meet and bright blessings to you all!

Here in Australia we are going to have a blue moon on the 30th of this month!!

I am a "baby" wiccan and have never experienced this before......I plan to include my children in the magick of the night by drawing Moon pictures and baking moon cookies and spending time outside soaking in the moons magick while telling them a beautiful story that a good friend sent to me.....
But what should i plan for myself? I would be interested in all ideas as i want this to be a very special night!
Thanking you all for your oppinions!
Blessed Be!!

Hey Goodlooking,

It's not as rare as people might think. There are 12 calender months & 13 luna months in a year. Naturally the "blue moon" happens once a year as there's 2 full moons in a calender month.

You can make what you want out of it. Be creative, that's the fun of it all...

Full moons are great times to charge new tools and for purification. Since this is also close to your Yule (seeing as you are in the Southern Hemisphere it will be June 21st), you might want to light several candles to welcome the shortest night and bring back the light half of the year.

Another thing to consider is that Yule is the time of the year when the Goddess gives birth to the Sun God. And as the full Moon is about motherhood (waxing Moon is the Maiden, waning Moon the Crone) probably the best thing to do is enjoy your children and the special bond of Motherhood.

Bright Blessings )O(

If you have any magical items, it would be a great time to charge them with moon energy. Just place them in an obvious beam of moonlight and let them charge for several hours if you can. It's also a great time for a major healing. If there's someone in your family who has a chronic situation (physical, emotion, mental or spiritual) that just won't seem to go away, they may want to take a moon bath. To do this, place a wading pool filled with warm water in a beam of moonlight and let the water soak up the energy. Get into the water with the express purpose of being completely cleansed of the illness and know in your heart that it will work (and then it will).

Enjoy the Blue Moon!

I think you should go out and buy yourself a moonstone! If you're lucky enough to find one mounted and on a silver chain, then all the better but if you only find the stone, go to a beads and jewellery-making shop, buy a "bell-cap," a 1/4" O-ring or "link," some epoxy glue and a silver chain (probably 18" or more).

BTW - Your name is .... incredible!
Blessed be!

I use the full moon to charge up my crystals and gem stones too. I try to absorb her energy also. Full moons are very beautiful and magical. I hope you enjoy your time with your children. BB

Do a moon dance. That is, dance with your shadow in the moonlight. If it's warm enough, do it sky-clad.

i think you are full of it and should stop doing child sacrifices to Moloch , and all your moon gods like Allah and osiris etc..
And you want to infect your children with such blasphemy, which shows you how spiritual disease spreads and contaminates.
