ALRIGHT DUMMIES: I AM TALKING ABOUT THE MINUTE MEN'S "MARCH FOR AMERICA" IN WASHINGTON THIS LAST WEEKEND IN WHICH I ATTENDED AND WAS EMBARRASSED BY THE FACT THAT NO AMERICANS CAME

NO RIOTING IN THE STREETS..IT WAS ON THE MALL BY THE MONUMENT AND IT WAS VERY CALM AND NOT BELLIGERENT AT ALL. WE NEED TO SHOW BUSH THAT WE DON'T WANT HIS NEW BILL.

The majority of anti's did show up.I guess there just aren't that many as you think.

My guess is that it was not adequately publicized or organized to insure that people would show up. I wasn't aware myself that there was going to be a "March for America". I live out west so I couldn't have gone anyway - if they had something like that where I happen to live, and some sort of advance notice was given for it, I would probably go to one.

P.S.: I didn't see anything on the news about this march either, which maybe is a good thing if nobody really showed up for it.

and the answer is they breed like rabbits.... they out number us cause we have had so many people in office that honestly didn't pay attention that is the reason over half of Americans refuse to vote cause only the politicians that get in office are after lining there pockets with cash to further there next bill that takes less rights away from the Americans to hand it over to those who wish to destroy us ?

I vote, write my elected officials, and write editorial opinion pieces for the newspapers. I work during the week and save the weekend for my family and my chores. I find I can express my opinion more accurately and effectively without a placard and a bullhorn.

Well, if it was today, San Antonians were busy watching the River Parade and Alamodome celebration of the Spurs 4th championship.

Well, being that I live in San Antonio and that I don't have money or time to just jump on a plane and fly up there... and being that I have to work in order to get paid, marches, riots, and such have to take a back seat on my agenda... I didn't even go to the parade... just caught bits and pieces of it at two different people's houses (on TV) and a little of it on the radio.

I heard on FOX that only 50 people showed up.. tsk tsk!! from the list of moaners and groaners parading through YAHOO ANSWERS, one would have thought at least 55 people would have shown up. hehehe

THE MAIN REASON they didn't come, AS I SEE IT, IS that it was a stupid march, a stupid protest AND IT WAS for a stupid reason!!!!

SOOOOOOO o.k., lets let by gones be by gones.NOBODY SHOWED UP...the BILL (the one you guys call amnesty bill) have BEEN revived and THIS TIME IT WILL PASS! I DON'T REALLY LIKE THE BILL.... too many stipulations, ESPECIALLY having them to pay $5000.00 while only earning $2.oo a hour, but it will have to do for now cos I'M growing weary of the whole thing!

WE need to get this show on the road, so the MEXICANS can get back to picking the crops so my food bills can go back
down to something more affordable. So I can find somebody who truly take pride in doing my lawn and so, I can get myself a housekeeper and nanny that I can depend on and trust!!

We need to stop bickering like little children and start thinking of ways to get our economy back to par. SO WE WON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THE immigrants.

Sad to say, I did not realize there was a march on washington.
I live on the West Coast, so... I couldn't be there anyway.
And, are the heads being counted as those pro bush, or anti bush = for better methods of keeping track?

Things aren't going well with President Bush's decesions, not best for many citizens. Why would they want to support anything to do with fake freedom?
