he's a vet who takes care of my dog. he's made small talk about people we may commonly know. he pays attention to things i say, and eavesdrops on my conversations with my daughter. does this mean anything at all? how will i know he's available? how can i possibly get him to make a move?

Hello, I am a single mom as well. If he seems nice and you're interested, why are you waiting for him. You can ask him right out. "I really enjoy talking with you, and I'd like to have a chance to talk without the dog".. (light and easy conversation) "I was wondering, if you're not attached to anyone, if you'd like to get a bite to eat some time."
If he's attached, he'll just say so. If not, you'll get a date. No problem being the one to open the door. I've done it. And I've only been turned down ONCE.. and wanna hear the funniest part. I was turned down by one guy and it bugged me so much. At a later date I found out from his brother, that I had intimidated him. He told his brother he "didn't want to fall for a bomshell he would never be able to keep" ME! A bombshell!!! I am nearly 40 and have four kids! I realized then, we women tend to sell ourselves a little short. Go girl! don't ask... don't get.. You may realize you are a 'bombshell' too!!!!

actual adult adult males will date a woman with a newborn. lots are to immature to handle the reality you have a newborn. Which in the long-term relatively is a sturdy component for you it helps keep various the loser away style you. As for this guy at artwork it would be a sturdy theory to be certain slightly greater like if he grew to become into married earlier? Do his infants have an identical mom? If he grew to become into married earlier or perhaps the infants have an identical mom decide for it. If his infants have greater then one mom he may well be somebody to stay faraway from whether he will date a single mom. His song checklist shows that he's not any longer very sturdy at stay with somebody if he has a newborn with them. you rather do no longer want to wind up a single mom with 2 infants from diverse dads.

This all may not mean a thing because this is who some people deal with others.my advise is to keep treating him as you do usually there no harm to show some attention to him but beware that some guys may take aside from such behavior. So after wards if you fell change in treatment that gives you the sign to move on or to pull out.and also be frank to give out your feelings.

First of all, you don't know if he is even available. I agree with the person above; it is in the interest of his business to make small talk with his clientele. However, he may be interested in you or he may not; I don't think there is anything there, more than a slight attraction. It would be inappropriate for you to try to make something happen. That is for him to do if he is interested. So---he knows you are there, knows how to get in touch with you, and has not done so. The ball is in his court, so to speak. He knows what to do if he is interested.......leave it up to him. I believe that he doesn't want to mix business with pleasure.

the ice is broken, eye contact made and coversations started flowing . . .

you're not a small girl anymore or out of touch on those romantic stuff . . .lol.

ask him for a drink or dinner and make it often and take it a step at a time and closer each time . . .lol.

you know how it should be done, just out of touch . . .lol.

Doesn't sound like much so far. You need to ask someon that works in the office if he is available first. Then you can invite him to the next summer get together.
