Where in the bible did GOD said : "Wait"?Please let me have the verse if u can find.
Thank goodness He did not say "wait" when the children of Isreal cried out to Him when the egyptians were after them when they were before the red sea! Instead He told the people : Be still! & see the salvation of the LORD!
In Christ all things are "yes" & "amen" through us to the glory of God.
Remeber Mark 11:24. When u pray, believe you had received them and u would have them.
To God, there is no time limit at His end. The moment you prayed He has given to You. It is according to our faith that it takes time to manifest. So this "time" factor that u would receive has become God's answer for you to "wait"!
Faith says God has given...how much do u believe in it?

It means that if you do anything now you will miss what is coming. If you wait, you will see that it didn't have anything to do with anything you did. If you don't wait, you could ruin your present before it is even wrapped because of a false assumption on your part. This could include not knowing what to do until all the wrong choices have been eliminated and only the right choice is left.

Just HOW do you know God is actually answering your prayers? How do you pray and how you get your answers?
Anyway, if God (if its really Him) says wait, then He means things are not ready now, you are not ready... to understand or to do something. It is not that you have to wait to do what you want to, it means that you have to wait so that you can understand better what is going on, or to a moment things will make it clearer to you what is actually the right thing to do.
Let's have an example here: if I wanted to get married, and I asked God about it, and --let's suppose He answers my prayer-- He says "wait", then it does not mean I have to wait some time before marrying the person I like at this moment. It probably means "wait till you are ready to take such a step, till you understand what marriage truly is about, and then you can make up your mind better, even if you are not with the same person anymore".
Hope it helps. (BTW, I would REALLY like to know how do you get your answers from God!)

merely when you consider which you ask God for some thing would not advise you're particular to get it. you will get issues whilst God feels you will have it. specially situations you may want some thing yet God feels that it does no longer be on your appropriate interest so he would not supply it to you. Or specially situations God would not experience that the time is best so which you will have it and can supply it to you later. look at Abraham and Sarah. They needed a newborn. It have been given to a factor the place they theory they might on no account have a newborn and then sometime, long, long, long, long, whilst that they had prayed for a newborn, suddenly God blessed them with a newborn.

God will not confuse you,so sometimes He may want you to slowdown and wait.God will also tell you no this is the wrong path you are taking,I think people tend to put a timetable on God He may not answer your prayers for a long time or He may answer them swiftly.Satan is the author of confusion.

God literally means "WAIT".
Just as a pedestrian, with half a brain, WAITS for the cross signal BEFORE crossing the busy intersection to prevent being run over and injured, if not killed.
God's timing is PERFECT.
People's timing is flawed.
God KNOWS down to the millisecond when the light is going to change and is in your favor and it will be safe and prosperous for you to cross the intersection.
One of my real life experiences, several years ago, when I and my youngest daughter were driving home, down I-75 on the way home. My daughter was napping, & I was tired & thirsty, but we only had three more hours, so I wanted to push on to get home. I kept getting the urge to take an off-ramp and get something to eat. I ignored it, until suddenly my daughter woke up and said she was so hungry and thirsty and needed to go to the bathroom, then I gave in and took the next off ramp in order to eat at The Cracker Barrel. Within minutes of being seated we began hearing the constant, piercing screams of police, fire, and ambulance sirens streaking past the restaurant down I-75. One exit further up they had had a major pile-up traffic accident that involved 30 cars and killed several people outright. Had I not given in to the internal urge & my daughter's wishes we would have been in the middle of that pile-up and if not dead outright, we would have both been seriously injured.
So if God says WAIT, GO, STOP...then WAIT, GO, STOP!

all things good come to those who wait.
it means that while your prayer may be answered, now isn't the right time to answer it. have the patience and faith to do as He asks and wait.
there is a song that says something to the effect of
sometimes the best answer is an unanswered prayer.

A few years ago, my husband was really sick. I started out praying that he will get well. After several months and health continued to decline, I prayed that God would take him so that he would not have to suffer anymore. It seemed God was not paying attention. Then one day, his doctor began telling us about a new pacemaker. This gave us hope. He had the surgery and we saw immediate results. I believe God was telling me to wait because the technology had to become a reality. When it did, he answered my prayer.

What a great question!!!!! God's workings are beyond human understanding. Be assured my friend every prayer is answered before it is even asked!!!! You may see the physical manifestation now or later but be assured your prayers were answered in Christ, Jesus!!!!!! God's timing is key here. God will manifest when the time is right. God knows what is best for all of us. Also remember you must have faith and obedience working together. You cannot please God without faith neither can your prayers be answered without it. You must also be obedient. God cannot operate in your life if you let sin dwell with you. Have faith and be obedient to see your prayers through in Christ, Jesus!!!!! Be strong and faint not in Christ, Jesus!!!!!
God Bless

well, Jesus told us to ask for the Kingdom first and all else will be provided. Sometimes we get swept away in our own selfish desires, putting aside the Grand Plan as something trivial, as we strive to make our short years here on the planet more comfortable. God listens to our prayers no doubt about it, but he, from his viewpoint, knows what is good for us and what is not. So do not be discouraged when he doesn't instantly gratify your requests. And keep on asking. Jesus although the Son of God keep on entreating him, so how much more should we mortals?
