Ok so i have two older sisters and they both say that the seventh grade is the hardest grade so far. One is a freshman and one is a sophmore. I want to know if that is really true or not. I know there are diffrent curiculams for every state so what is it like in Texas?

I lived in San Antonio Texas for my seventh grade year and it was actually one of my easiest grades. It may seem hard now but remember you have many years ahead of you and you'll always hear one grade is harder than another but it truly depends on you. In my seventh grade school the classes were easy and I was in the GT classes, and the school was really easy to adapt to. But like I said it is different for everyone, so Good Luck!!

I don't live in TX so I don't know about specific curriculum, but I don't remember 7th grade being necessarily hard in academics. Probably the hardest part about it is the transition from being in Elementary school with one teacher to being in Jr High with six (or even seven!) teachers. With assignments coming from so many teachers, it can be overwhelming. Also, all the peer pressure and hormones raging in the school makes it difficult. But you'll be fine! Just keep studying and choose good friends and you'll do great!

It does get harder. You should plan on about half an hour of homework for every hour of class time. Now is the time to learn organization and study skills. Try reading, "The Seven Habits for Highly Successful Teens" for some help, and also get their planner and write your assignments in them. If you can learn good study skills, that will take you as far as you want to go. Socially, remember that everyone is so concerned about the zit on their nose that they don't have time to notice the zit on your nose.

im going into the 8th grade(: 7th grade, i found, was the best year of my life so far! i met all of my best friends, and i got good grades, and etc... my advise, is do ur class work, and be yourself! people change in the 7th grade, and try to change you, and if u dont do ur class work, u will miss alot of things, like my friend missed our field day because she got written up to much, and field day is the best day all year. Hope i helped(: HAVE FUN!

Not true. If anything, 6th is hardest because you're the youngest. The things you learn are not particularly difficult compared to other years.
