we have this anoying coworker who dosent do anything all day except jack around. so turns out this guy thinks that he is next in line for the mgmt position which we all laugh about because he is always in the boss's office due to trouble.
anyway so somehow they blew smoke up his behind and told him that he needs to start being a leader and learn more if he wanted to advance, what they were really trying to say is that he needs to step up and work more.
anyway now he goes around bragging and does all these things he wouldnt touch before, he just volunteered to take on a major project that none of us would even think of doing all alone.
we feel bad for him because mgmt used the same strategy on all of us before to get us going and lied to all of us...thinking we were next for the mgmt position.
will he ever get back into reality ? he just turned down 2 other jobs because he thinks he is moving up

Hey, if he steps up and starts doing the all the work he should be, helps out other workers, and completes the project none of you will touch, he may very well get the position - he would definitely deserve it.
You can't assume management is just blowing smoke if they are trying to motivate people.
Just because you and other coworkers didn't get management spots doesn't mean that he won't get it. There may have been other factors involved.

That is really sad! But all of you tried to help him focus, on what he should have been doing, all along. It might be a good
co-worker idea to see how he is coming along on this new project, he took on alone, and see if he needs help!
(Hopefully he is working on it and not just messing around!)
No one likes a braggard, but if the "pat on the back" by other co-workers is placed by co-workers giving credit to each other, he'll most likely catch on!!

there is a new girl at work that is always goofing off and talking constantly very lazy and i sometimes wonder if shes related to the boss cause if it were anyone else i believe she'd be gone so watch what you say it could be the bosses friend or family member.

in simple terms impolite to flirt in case you're/they are married. shows a loss of appreciate for the spouses who're no longer around. and can desire to bring about a good deal of hassle. in no way, ever flirt with married human beings/in case you're married.
